My name is Mabel, I own a computer, and I know how to type. Well, that was about it for my Internet use until my grandson told me about blogging and set up this site for me. I’m 67 years old and a widow. I loved my husband John but I have plenty of life in me and still want to live it, maybe with a friend or companion. I refuse to be lonely and just waste away getting old, tired, and fat. There has got to be more to life in my older years than getting excited about walmart black friday tv sales 2011.
My grandson set up a few of my friends with usernames for our Internet blog about dating in the senior years. I hope you enjoy our stories and find inspiration and support. We’re in this together and I want to make it fun. I want to show everyone that you can learn to use a computer, find online dating to be safe and fun, and enjoy life like we’re supposed to.
